Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Respectfully to:

Mrs. Lawrence S. Ting and Family

CT&D Group and Phu My Hung Joint Venture
Company

ˇ@I would like to extend our sincere condolences
to the family of Mr. Lawrence S. Ting and to the
entire staff of CT&D Group. We are extremely
saddened by the sudden passing of Mr. Ting. Mr.
Ting was an entrepreneur who made outstanding contributions to the economic development of Ho
Chi Minh City during the early difficult years.

ˇ@Mr. Ting had received an honor award from the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. He was
also the first foreign investor to receive an award
from the Central Government of Vietnam. We affirm the pivotal role he played in the success of Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone, the rapid development of Phu My Hung New City Centre, and the establishment of Hiep Phuoc Power Plant. These projects are very valuable and significant to Ho Chi Minh City and the economic development of Vietnam.

ˇ@It is with deep regret that we mourn the loss of an experienced entrepreneur and dear friend of Ho Chi Minh City. I wish to share the current difficulties faced by CT&D Group. All Ho Chi Minh City government departments will continue to render support to CT&D's investment projects. We will work together to build upon past experiences, bring to light tangible results already achieved, resolutely overcome remaining obstacles, and assist in Phu My Hung's continual development.

Yours sincerely,ˇ@ˇ@ˇ@ˇ@
